Welcome to Hoosier Southern Railroad (HOS), where “The River Meets the Rail”. Our short line railroad is headquartered in Tell City, IN, at the Tell City River Port, and interchanges with the Norfolk Southern Railway (NS) in Lincoln City. The HOS is owned and operated by Perry County Port Authority (PCPA), who also owns and operates a public Port – Tell City River Port (TCRP). Our strategic infrastructure allows customers complete access to rail and port through both Perry and Spencer Counties.
